The Programs Junior Achievement for the secondary school level represent a sequence of separate entities, explained for pupils in grades 5-9.

The program shows the importance of resources for organizing a business, develops skills for identifying and solving economic problems. It helps pupils determine the way of production and distribution of goods and services. The program offers pupils information about the resources available in the region where they live and the way they are used in the business world for being transformed into goods and services for the consumers.

The activities under the program stimulate pupils’ interest for the process of production and distribution of goods and services in their region and develop skills that help them solve community problems. The program explores the European business area and the way in which resources and locations diversity affects individuals and businesses, generating interdependence of countries. Students learn skills and concepts of business and economics and understand the need to cooperate in order to use resources more effectively.

3. Our world

The program represents various aspects of the global economy and provides practical information on the international trade. Within the program, pupils will identify the concepts of import and export, advantages and disadvantages of the international trade, the role of the foreign exchange and the economic interdependence of countries of the world.

4.I and economy

The program facilitates the evaluation of capacities and personal interests, explores the opportunities for building a successful career and reveals the value of education. The program will strengthen the capacity of developing and managing the family and the personal budget, problem solving, self-assessment, team collaboration and assuming different roles. The lessons highlight how students’ decisions on education, career, spending and investment influence their role in society.

5.Entrepreneurial spirit

The program explains how a company works and explores the basic features of the market economy system. Through practical activities pupils get used and apply concepts like: market, market structure, producer and consumer, supply and demand, prices and profits, income and expenses, specialization and division of labor. This program helps pupils to understand the main features of economic structure based on the private property and entrepreneurship, and the role of companies in this system. The work is conceived to strengthen economic concepts taught in the previous courses. Students learn the first steps of organizing a company, how to produce and bring to market a product. They also learn about the social responsibilities of the companies and the role of the government in a market economy.

6.Economy in digit

The program contributes to the understanding by pupils of economic concepts through mathematics. During the program students will realize the importance of mathematics for their future career and economic transaction, they will develop skills and deepen the understanding of concepts from the mathematical classes.

The program brings together the business community , school and family, involving notions of general math, algebra and geometry. Pupils are trained in several activities that stimulate thinking, which helps them understand the mechanism of mathematical concepts in their future career and personal economic transactions.

7. International market.

Program offers models of the interaction between different people, different economical systems through the commercial exchange. Pupils will learn different economical systems, existing resources in different world regions and their role in the international commerce, also effects of emigration and opportunities to assert themselves in their own country. The program comes from the students' need to accumulate information about: key aspects of the global economy, methods of the operation of the international trade, the impact of international trade on the daily life of the individual.

8. The key to success.

Programs offer opportunities of the analyzing and identification of the knowledge, capabilities and professional interests by offering of the prospects of building a successful career. Pupils will learn how to write a CV, how to be interviewed and how to develop abilities of the successful man. The courses will propose topics such as lifestyle, life strategies and career, resources, products and customers, young people, being taken out of their specific educational environment, and trained in dynamic, motivational methods, that can change them in a positive way and their point of view on the world and life.
